Vatsal Doshi, M.D., M.P.H. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Vitreous Retina Macula Specialists of New Jersey. He specializes in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous.
Dr. Doshi earned his Bachelor of Arts at University of Pennsylvania before transitioning to the Harvard School of Public Health and to earn his Master of Public Health degree. After that, he earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
Following his graduation, Dr. Doshi completed several distinguishing programs. This includes an internship in Internal Medicine at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center, an ophthalmic residency at the Doheny Eye Institute at the University of South Carolina (USC), and fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Doshi is a diplomate of both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He stays active in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
